Tajuddin & Team with Monster Size 50lb to 55lb Rohu/Carp Of Karnataka

Dear Friends,

Here is a report form one of our know teams.

This trip is all about bait casting for Rohu / Carp. The spot was pre baited for 2-4 days. All the fishes were caught in one single day at Karnatka. Around 16 carps have been caught. It was a very successful trip with bag of around 320kg. The maximum size was 25kg. We think this the most successful trip of our life.

He uses spinners of big size with buck tails. He is a well known angler and he had caught some decent records fishes in freshwater fishing in India.

Snakehead Fishing Karnataka

Dear Friends
This is a wonderful snakehead / Murrel / Channa marulius fishing trip to Karnataka. These fishes were caught at Birenhalli (Birnalli) lake owned by Sohail farooqui. He is a very well know and expert anglers of Hydreabad. 

Just look at the sizes of the fishes caught. All the fishes were caught using spoon and spinners.

Tambo / Eeel caught by Salik Khan, Hyderabad, India.

Dear Friends

This is one of the biggest eel caught by our member Salik Khan. It is very rare to catch a fish of this size. This was around 5 kg. It was caught on earthworm as bait at Madhavreddy canal near Nagarjuna Sagar.

We used to fish at nagarjunsagar downstream at night after 11pm till 5am. We used to catch these eels using earthworm but this size is a treat for our eye.

Michael caught Mirgal, Silver Carp, Tilapia and lot more

Michael caught this huge silver carp of 26 pounds at a lake.  Apart from this monster he caught mirgal and tilapia on pop up rig and method feeder.

He is an avid anglers who keeps trying new ways of catching fish. The passion for fishing had made a great angler out of him. Today he is well known angler in India.

Sengal, Shovelnose catfish, Singhara - Salik Khan of Hyderabad

These fishes are from the catfish family. In Hyderabad we call it as sengad, singhara in north India and shovelnose catfish across the globe.

This is a predatory fish and bottom feeder. It take all kinds of dead and live baits required you set the bait at the bottom. We enjoy catching this fish at Madhav reddy canal rapid waters because you got to be very alert while setting the hook.


All these fishes were caught using earthworms. We have been catching these fishes at Madhav reddy canala since very long time using earthworms.

Salik bhai caught all these fishes at Madhav reddy canal.

Wallago of Chinoor, Gopalpet, Manjira River - Medak, India

This team has been going to this location on a regular basis. They know the complete geography of the location i mean not the whole river but just small patch where they go. Out of practice and lot of patience they learned and know where they are casting their spoon. The place where there is probability of the fish staying there. To summarize it, they know where the fish is in this location.

To reach this spot you need to drive down to Pocharam lake in medak. After you cross Pocharam ask for Gopalpet. There is one police station on RHS followed by a petrol stations. Ask there how to go to chinoor. After you reach there you'll find one mandir on RHS, there ask any village about the river (they call it Vaagu in telugu)

Salik Khan - Seasoned angler & the most admired adventurer of Hyderabad.

Dear Freinds,

Let me take the pleasure of introducing you all to Mr. Salik Khan whom we all call Salik bhai. He is one of the most admired and the best angler in the fishing community here in Hyderabad.

He is an adventurer at core with active participation in sport rallies, fishing, camping and many more activities across India.

I the last few years I fished with Salik bhai at Bhima river, Madhavreddy canal, Nagarjuna Sagar and around Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Salik bhia has the perfect team and thats his strength. Yes he has a team to assist him in all his angling and adventure activities. Most of the time he is out for fishing, sometimes 15 days in a month.

I saw him catching so many big fishes specially big rohu and catlas. There are so many more photos that our angling community has not seen it yet. I will very soon publish them on this site.

All our team members and known friend admire him as one of the good angler Hyderabad and India has even known.
