Wallago of Chinoor, Gopalpet, Manjira River - Medak, India

Dear Friends,

This team has been going to this location on a regular basis. They know the complete geography of the location i mean not the whole river but just small patch where they go. Out of practice and lot of patience they learned and know where they are casting their spoon. The place where there is probability of the fish staying there. To summarize it, they know where the fish is in this location.

To reach this spot you need to drive down to Pocharam lake in medak. After you cross Pocharam ask for Gopalpet. There is one police station on RHS followed by a petrol stations. Ask there how to go to chinoor. After you reach there you'll find one mandir on RHS, there ask any village about the river (they call it Vaagu in telugu)

3.4 kg Murrel caught in Manjeera River

Hi,

This murrel / Snakehead was caught using a spinner at Manjeera river at (not to be disclosed) location. Caught by my friend James.

See what James said

"To top off the trip an amazing snake head which i was luckey with as while it rushed in to the Reeds i pulled him out with so much of force that my Line had snapped but thank to Ben who had the other end with him and thanks to the snake head which landed just behind me could not land him as the place was full of reeds and very high water levels."

Certainly it is a memorable fish for James. Congrats James for such a lovely fish and wish more to come.

20 Pound Catfish caught at Nizam Sagar

Dear Friends,

We had a lovely time yesterday catching wallago attu / mulley.

It was like raining fishes yesterday. We were 5 anglers and we all together caught around 80-90 fishes. Most of them were released as they were of less than 1.5kg. We retained all the fishes of more than 1.5kg.

Major highlight of the day was the big 20 pound monster caught by our team member. This fish was real " river monster " !

There was a sudden drop in the catches after 2:30pm.

we had our lunch and closed the day at 4pm.

17Lb Wallogo Attu, Pathen, Catfish caught at Nizam Sagar.

Hello Friends,

Here comes another huge monster caught by one of our good friends Arif bhai.

Look at the size of the fish.

Wallago attu /catfish / pathen is a very good game fish. Gives wonderful fight compared to Murrel / snakehead.

The moment it gets hooked it directly goes in to the deep waters.

This fish was caught on our Hyderabad Spoon lure.

Cheers & more such Tight lines to Arif bhai !
