Dear Friends,

We had a very successful trip last week at Madhavreddy canal.

Our team member and well known angler of Hyderabad, Mr. Chandbhai had caught a monster murrel with spinner. The weight of the fish was 7kg - 14lbs.

It gave a tough fight and was succesfully landed by Chandbhai.

Immediately after the him Sultan Masqati caught a two Sengals (Singhara) of 7kgs & 4.5kg.

The photos will be updated soon.

Thanks,

Cheers

Caught 10-Snakehead /Murrel/Haruan Fishing.

Dear Friends,

Hi,

We planned a trip on Sunday to a location near Hyderabad.

We were 4 anglers and caught 10 snakehead fishes on 25th December 2011.

All the fishes were released back in the water.

Find attached a video that shows a snakehead being released plus you can see another snakehead on left hand side in the water. We released all the fishes after the photo session. All the images are attached below.

Happy New Year !

Snakehead, Haraun, Murrel.

It was a real surprise to catch a murrel which got hooked on its back.

Normally a murrel of this size will have strong scales and skin. Getting hooked in this way is incidental.

We inquired with our friends at Hyd caught a 400g murrel which got hooked in stomach.

In our experience of 20 years we caught so many wallago attu getting hooked in even tentacles....but this is the first time that a murrel was caught like this.

Here is the link to the video.

This was caught by my friend Mr. Iqbal.

We would like know similar experiences from our fellow anglers.
