Hi Friends

These fishes were caught on earthworm on single hook in the flowing waters of Madhareddy canal in Nalgonda, Telangana.

Salik khan and team of anglers from Hyderabad caught these fishes.

Monster of Nagarjunasagar Dam

Dear Friends,

Here is one of the super report from Satish John who caught this fish at Madhavreddy Canal.

This was like 4 feet long. It was about 5 kg.

The rod reel was combo of Shakespear Wildcat with Shimano reel.

This fish was caught on Hyderabadi Spoon.

Mustafa Ali Khan seasoned Angler of Hyderabad

Hi ,

These are very few photos to describe angler out of Mustafa.

He is one of the super carp anglers of Hydreabad. The passion and hunger to catch a big trophy took him to so many places around India.

I personally camped with him a dozen times in various places in Andhra pradesh and Karnataka.

I've learned a lot about carp fishing and so may bait recipes from him.

It was Saturday and we started off at 530hrs to Pocharam. Journey via narsapur was good as usual.


We had a lovely time with new friends. Almost everybody caught fish. 

It was a successful trip with some decent catches.

17 lb Monster Wallago attu, Wolley, Ikan Tapah - Hyderabad spoon

Dear Friends,

This is a record fish of 17 lb caught by Bharat of Ananthapur.

Caught on spoon this monster fish gave an extraordinary fight. Congratualtions to Bharat for this tropy catch.

7kg Wallago attu / Wolley / Pathen / Ikan Tapah

Dear Friends,

This is a 7kg fish caught at Madhavreddy canal on the earthworm on single hook.

If you're a regular to this place you'll know about the three gates and pillars. Water was running from first gate and the line got struck in the P3 - 3rd pillar.

We could see the fish but do nothing. One of our team members, used a separate line with treble hook to land this fish from the height of 30 feet.

It was a team effort in landing the fish. Truly adventurous.

Will update his photo of the angler who set the hook very soon.

Pathen Mania: Wallago attu, Catfish, Pathen caught at Nizam Sagar

Dear Anglers !

Guys we had a lovely dayout with many many wolleys caught by 5 of us. All the fishes upto 1kg  were released back in the waters.

We caught more than 120kg of fishes on one single day. This is like a record. The count including the fishes released was at 80+

The biggest was 6kg.

Catfish and Rohu fishing at Nizam Sagar

Hello everyone after a long time,

I was busy traveling and fishing all these days hence the delay in posting about the catch reports.

Will update the blog very soon.

Here is a report from one of my friends Sameul and his friend Jayprakash who returned with lots of Rohu and a huge mulley last Sunday.

They caugt 25 rohu of size 1-2 kgs.And they also caught a 7kg mulley on the Nizam Sagar bund using bait.
